Members Tips - Anchoring

When anchoring, always put as much strain on your anchor as there will be windage on your boat. The strain/drag will set your anchor into the sand and/or weed and indicate if the anchor is likely to hold.
How much chain to let out?
Light Winds - At least 3 times the depth
Heavy Winds - At least 5 times the depth
