CLUB FACILITIES
Club Facilities

Perth Flying Squadron Yacht Club has excellent facilities for the sailing and power boat enthusiast, with pen, hard standing and undercover storage available.

Additionally, there are two boat ramps, washdown area and a club tractor available for Members's use.

The Club has seven jetties, with pens available for rent by Ordinary, Life and Family Members only and also hardstand bays for those who wish to keep their boats on trailers.

The Club tractor is available for use by authorised Members who store their boats on the hardstands and require something more powerful than their car to maneuver their boats to the Launching Ramp.

The Clubs helpful Bosuns aid Members with any boat-related issues and are onsite Monday to Friday during winter, and seven days a week during summer.

The Squadron is proud of its marina, ship yard services and facilities. With a superb location on the northern shore of the Swan River just five kilometres from the City of Perth, it provides Squadron Members and visitors with a range of facilities to enhance their boating lifestyle.

The PFSYC Marina offers:

  • 181 Fixed Berths ranging in size from 7.5 - 25 metres

  • 32 Floating Berths ranging in size from 7 - 30 metres

  • 108 hardstand spaces up to 32 feet

Recycling - Containers for Change

As part of the Club’s commitment to sustainable waste management and recycling to prevent unnecessary landfill, we have committed to recycling “Containers for Change”.

You will notice that there are three IBC Containers around the Club (A jetty near the bins; Boat Ramp near the bin; and C jetty outside the gate).  These containers are for you to put your eligible containers into.  In turn these containers will be sent to the recycling depot to be recycled and reused.

They look like this:

How do I know which containers can be recycled?

CHECK FOR THE 10c MARK

It's easy to save your 10¢ containers from landfill so they can live another life — just check for the 10c mark!

Most plastic and glass bottles, as well as drink cartons, cans and pouches, that are 150ml to 3L are accepted.

This includes:

• Most single-serve water and fizzy drink containers up to and including 3L.

• Most single-serve alcohol containers, like beer bottles and pre-mixed spirits (No spirit or wine bottles).

• Flavoured milk containers that are 150ml to 999ml.

• Coconut water, pure fruit, or vegetable juice containers that are 150ml to 999ml.

Make sure you take off the lids — we recycle those too, just separately.

Please do your part to protect the environment.
