Power Boat Time Trial held in Winter. A test of accuracy rather than concentrating on speed. Boats are required to arrive at a checkpoint at precisely the right time, based on your nominated speed which can range from 8 to 15 knots. A one-point penalty is applied for every second that a boat is early or late at each checkpoint. Your team will comprise of a skipper and a navigator and is a great way to give your boat a run over the winter months. Flags & prizes awarded to First Place, Second Place & Third Place with many door prizes also up for grabs for those who participate.

The Cork Evans Time Trial has always proved to be a fantastic day at the Club and is a great opportunity to come down and mingle with your fellow Club Members while enjoying some time out on the river with some healthy competition.

Time trialing provides you with a fantastic opportunity to use your boat during winter on the river, whether it be big or small. 

Getting the perfect zero score is actually quite difficult!  Very quickly you will find yourself developing a knowledge of the river and improving your boat handling skills.

 

On the day of the Cork Evans Time Trial we will provide a briefing of what the day will entail.

The Members Restaurant, Rimondo's on the River will be open from 8am for takeaway alcohol and collection of pre-ordered boat platters.

 

Following the race, be sure to come to the Clubhouse for presentations and to enjoy a fantastic lunch.
