CHRIS CORBETT
General Committee

Bob Chris lives in Nedlands with his wife and two daughters. Returning to boating early last year, they've been delighted with how welcoming the Club has been and particularly the family oriented atmosphere. Chris and his family are unashamedly down at the Club once or twice or week for a meal. 

Professionally, Chris has a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from UWA. He founded and operates an IT consulting company providing business systems and innovations to SME businesses. This includes business software, marketing, KPI reporting and automation systems. 
From 2011 to 2018 Chris served on the board as a board director/trustee of a local industry superannuation fund managing over $550m. In addition to regular director responsibilities, he was also a member of the Investment Committee and chair of the Marketing and Communications Committee. In 2018, the fund completed a successful merger into a larger fund. 

Before more recently switching and immersing themselves in boating, Chris was heavily involved in the equestrian sport of polocrosse, including a wide range of office bearer positions at the club, zone and state level. 

There has been a lot of changes in the short time they have been involved in the Club and can sense the great opportunities moving forward. 

Chris has been a Member of the Club for 3 years and holds a position within our General Committee
