VINCE CARBONE
General Committee

As a teenager, Vince always enjoyed any form of shore-based fishing and dreamed of owning a boat one day. At the age of 19, he went halves in a 15ft fibreglass boat with a 45hp Chrysler outboard, which between himself and his brother paid $1,450 for. He hardly knew anything about boats but with time on the water,  gradually did learn and soon realised how much he enjoyed being on the water.

With 30+ years of boating experience behind him and having owned various boats over the years, Vince feels he s well qualified to contribute to PFSYC and the boating community. Whilst his experience has generally been with power boats, he is keen to support the growth and development of all forms of boating, whether it is sailing, power boating or any form of activity on the water.

As a Mechanical Engineer and Project Manager, Vince have developed and implemented projects of all sizes and complexities around the world. Considering the exciting development plans at PFSYC, he is confident that he can contribute in any capacity  to help the Club realise the strategic plans. He enjoy's working cooperatively and constructively with various teams in achieving common goals and delivering real and tangible outcomes

Vince believes strongly in the core values of integrity, honesty and respect and would continue to support the Club culture in maintaining these core values. He supports the Club’s strategic plan, including the Vision, Mission and Values. He feels we have a wonderful Club and community, with a solid platform upon which to continue the growth and development of our club.

Vince has been a Member of PFSYC for 3 years and currently holds a position on our General Committee.
