Winter Talk Series - Tying Knots & Splicing

Our Winter Talk Series are back!

All Members & Guests are welcome on Wednesday 6 August 2025 for an information & demonstration evening on all the knot knowledge you could imagine.

Have you and your crew ever had a dinghy float away, rope too big for the cleat or bollard, or just have trouble getting the rope over the pylon... well this is the night for you!

Presented by Retired Commodore Norm Roberts & Member John Haddon the night will involve the following;

- Throwing a line (rescue & mooring)

- Round turn & two half hitches
