Opening Day marks the official opening of the 2026–2027 sailing season and is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our Club, our traditions and the season ahead with fellow Members and Guests. 

 

🗓️ Opening Day Schedule

🍽️ 11:00am – Restaurant opens for lunch
🎉 1:00pm – Opening Ceremony
⛵️ 2:00pm – Official Sail Past
🏁 2:30pm – Official Races

🏆 Presentations will follow the completion of racing.

🏁 Racing Registrations

Entry forms for the Opening Day races are available via the link below, from the Office, or in the Members Restaurant.

⏰ Racing registrations close at 5:00pm on Thursday, 29 October 2026.

⛵️ Official Sail Past

The Sail Past is a special Opening Day tradition involving all sail and power boats at the Club. Participating vessels sail past the Club’s Start Box and salute the Commodore. ⚓️

Members are encouraged to dress their vessels and help make this a spectacular celebration of our Club and the new season!
